The museum of memory, located in the town of Neltume, which addresses issues about human rights, as well as the Cultural House located in the city of Panguipulli, are two remarkable private iniciatives in the zone.
Other significant activities include the promotion of events related to the field of popular and classical music, theater, crafts and the rescue of local heritage.
The cultural field has been increasing in the last years due to the participation of young people in different artistic disciplines, especially through the musical formation that is carried out by the youth orchestra. It also has a large number of artisans throughout its territory, who actively participate in fairs and cultural events.
Commune’s most important project is the Educational Theater of the Arts, which is currently under construction.
