One of the main cultural heritages of the commune of Lanco is the Galia Theater, built in 1945 by Felipe Barthou Corbeaux which was declared a National Monument in 2013. After the restoration, impulsed by the Goverment’s local authorities of Los Ríos, the theater was finally delivered in March 2020. Its investment exceeded 2.000 million chilean pesos. Without a doubt a milestone at regional level that in the future will enable the realization of various artistic activities, aiming to posisionate the commune as an important center in this field.
On the other hand, the Municipality is working with the cultural groups present in the area, specially in folkloric actions and supporting the application of projects of this nature to organizations that focus on training activities.
